Project overview

The customer operates a busy logistics warehouse where the main loading entrance stays open for long periods during receiving and dispatch. Forklifts move through the doorway frequently, creating constant air exchange between the indoor warehouse and the outdoor loading area.

The site needed a durable air curtain that could cover a wide opening, maintain a strong downward airflow and fit above the existing industrial door without blocking daily operations.

Customer challenge

Before installation, the open doorway caused uncomfortable drafts near the entrance and made it harder to keep the warehouse environment stable during busy hours.

• Large door opening allowed outdoor heat and dust to enter the warehouse.
• Frequent forklift traffic meant the entrance could not stay closed during peak loading periods.
• The customer needed an installation method that would not interfere with the rolling door or forklift clearance.

HX solution

HX recommended the Industrial Series air curtain with higher air volume and stronger outlet velocity for the 3.8 m installation height. Multiple units were aligned across the doorway to create continuous coverage from one side of the opening to the other.

The mounting brackets were positioned above the entrance frame, leaving enough clearance for the existing door structure and daily material handling traffic.

Installation details

The final layout focused on full doorway coverage, stable mounting and simple maintenance access. The project page should show real photos from at least three angles once HX installation images are available.

Project results

After installation, the entrance area felt more stable for workers operating near the loading door. The customer also reported better separation between indoor and outdoor air when the doorway remained open.
